Australians who are celebrating a special birthday or wedding anniversary can receive personal congratulations from the Prime Minister, Governor-General or The Queen.

Supporting documentation such birth certificates or marriage certificates will be required. A statutory declaration can also be used. These forms are available at any post office or from Senator Paterson’s office.
You can lodge a request for congratulatory messages up to two months before the celebration.
It is also possible to request a belated message up to one month following a celebration.
Congratulatory messages can be posted directly to the recipient or alternatively to a care-of address for surprises.
