LABOR SHOULD HANG THEIR HEADS IN SHAME OVER OPEN TICKET IN MACNAMARA

Today's news that Labor will run an open ticket in the federal seat of Macnamara, confirms Labor will be preferencing the Greens in 149 out 150 seats at the election.
This follows months of people raising concerns over the antisemitic strains within the Greens that have contributed to Jewish people feeling marginalised and unsafe in our community.
It is cold comfort to many in the Jewish community that Labor has decided to ignore their wishes and put forward the weakest option available in just one seat.
It begs the question, if the Greens, their views and their policies are bad in Macnamara, are they not bad in other seats?
The Albanese government has said it will not tolerate hate and antisemitism. If they were serious about this no-tolerance policy, the Greens would be the last of their preferences, not just in Macnamara but nationwide.
If Josh Burns was serious about defending the Jewish community in his seat, he would be directing his constituents to preference the Greens last.
Only the Coalition will stand up to the extreme Greens, and only a Dutton-led Coalition government will stand by its promises to stamp out antisemitism.
